Chipping Sodbury Baptist Church

We meet for worship on Sundays, and during the week. Whoever you are we can assure you of a very warm welcome.

For some people, going anywhere for the first time can be a nerve-racking experience. To help avoid any worries, here is a summary of what you can expect at a Sunday service. We are no different from anyone else but we have found something special which we would like to share. We invite you to come along and we trust that you will feel at home with us. If you don't understand something please ask.

When to arrive

If it's your first visit then it's probably best to turn up around 10.20am or 6.20pm, which is about 10 minutes before the service starts. If you are driving there is plenty of parking in the High Street, or in the car-park in Wickwar Road. For directions to find us please see the Location page. You will be greeted at the door and shown the way into the church. You will then be offered a song book and given a copy of the weekly newsheet. Song books may not be necessary during the morning service as the words are usually projected onto a screen.

For those with disabilities

We aim to be an all inclusive church. Our premises are accessible for wheelchair users and there is a hearing aid loop. There are five reserved disabled parking spaces near the entrance. If you have any specific needs please mention them when you arrive.
